Story

I heard this group in Racine years ago. I really liked their groove and thought they were great performers. I urge everyone to check these guys out. I like the song so much, I wanted to do my own version of it.

Lyrics

I was sitting at the bar, sipping alize, listening to the shit some people say, they start to rattle on, It's time for me to go, because they're talking about some things they just don't know, I said Hush, hush your mouth, I said hush, hush, hush, hush your mouth.

Story

I wrote this southern oriented blues thinking about the musicians who have influenced me over time. I listen to a lot of New Orleans' pianists. They've got it.

Story

I wrote this thinking about being under water, looking up at the calm surface as the sun reflects on it.

Story

I wanted to take this old jam and freshen it up a bit. I simplified the chord structure and made it funky.

Story

I heard preservation hall jazz band from New Orleans perform this one. I also had the chance to have the entire group sign the CD I purchased from them. They are some of the kindest musicians I have met. I liked the way they played this one, and wanted to do it myself.
